Lille president doesn’t rule out Hazard’s return to team

Olivier Letan, president of Lille The French club have not ruled out a chance to bring Real Madrid star Eden Hazard back to the club.

         The 30-year-old has had a difficult time at Real Madrid since joining in 2019, with ongoing injuries and disappointing performances.

         Past news reports reveal that “White King” is ready to be release from the team. And many clubs are interest. Which Let’s not reject this opportunity as well.

         “Hazard is back in Lille? It is not impossible,” Letan told L’Equipe. “I will go to Spain if necessary.”

         “Of course Hazard is an amazing player with quality. For now he is a Real Madrid player and he has a contract with the club.”

         Hazard started his career at Lille where he scored 50 goals and 53 assists in 194 games before moving to Chelsea. With the midfielder currently under contract with Real Madrid until 2024.

Hazard, who began his professional career with Lille, scored 50 goals and provided 53 assists in 194 appearances across all competitions for Les Dogues during a successful five-year spell with the club, before joining Premier League giants Chelsea in 2012.

Hazard, who has just over two-and-a-half years remaining on his Real Madrid contract, has featured only 55 times in all tournaments for Los Blancos, scoring five goals.
